Off we go to the Aardman Night!


Shaun the Sheep, Wallace and Gromit and Chicken Run – who doesn’t know them, the chaotic characters made from clay. On Friday the 4th of November 2016, the clay character zoo will be coming to the city to this years Event Night from Dok Leipzig. Due to the 40th anniversary of the Aardman Studios, the founder David Sproxton will be on stage. Aardman Animations, founded by Sproxton as well as the animator Peter Lord, is the production team behind the just mentioned series, films and characters. On Friday evening Sproxton will show the audience what happens behind the scenes, how the clay characters are made and how they are put into movement at the Schaubühne Lindenfels. He will further present the new teaser of “Early Man”. This evening will give you the exceptional opportunity to have an insight into the clay factory from Wales. Everybody that loves animation movies and wants to meet Wallace, Gromit and co. in person will not regret the 9 Euros per ticket.

On Friday the 4th of November 8 pm, Schaubühne im Lindenfels, Karl-Heine-Str. 50, tickets in advance are available at all DOK box offices.
