Der Film “One Day in Sarajevo” findet in Sarajevo genau hundert Jahre nach dem Beginn des ersten Weltkriegs statt. Die Regisseurin, Jasmila Zbanić, bat Leute zu filmen, was sie am 28. Juni 2014 machen. Der entstandene Film ist voll mit lustigen Momenten und einer vielschichtigen Sicht darüber, wie Leute mit Geschichte umgehen.
In unserem Interview mit ihr erzählt sie uns von ihrer Zeit als Jurymitglied beim DOK 2015 und wir sprechen über die Geschichte Bosniens, nationalistischen Bewegungen und natürlich – über ihren Film.
You are in the jury at the DOK-Festival, what is it like to see so many different movies from different directors? // Sie sind in der Jury beim DOK-Festvial, wie ist es so viele verschiedene Filme von verschiedenen Regisseuren zu sehen?
This year, there are many movies about refugees and in Germany there are many refugees from Kosovo. They come here because the consequences of the Yugoslavia-War are still noticeable, is this also a problem for Bosnia? // Dieses Jahr gibt es viele Filme über Flüchtlinge und in Deutschland gibt es viele Flüchtlinge aus dem Kosovo. Sie kommen hierher, weil dort die Folgen des Jugoslawienkrieg immer noch spürbar sind. Ist das auch ein Problem für Bosnien?
Your movie is about the beginning of the first world war and also about Gavrilo Princip. He is a very controversial person from history. What do you think about Gavrilo Princip and about what he did? // Ihr Film handelt über den Beginn des ersten Weltkriegs und somit natürlich auch von Gavrilo Princip. Er ist eine sehr umstrittene, historische Persönlichkeit. Was denken Sie über Gavrilo Princip und was er getan hat?
There are many national movements in Europe, like the Front National or Ukip. What do you think is the reason for the formation of these national movements?
