The short film “Lina” tells the story of parents who lost their children during pregnancy or at a very early age. Accompanied by abstract images, those affected tell their stories and provide a deep insight into their emotional world.
Mia and Wanda had the opportunity to interview filmmaker Remo Rauscher at Cinestar and ask him a few questions about his interaction with the parents, his inspiration for “Lina,” and what will happen after the DOK Festival.
The filmmaker also shared that he is happy to send his work to self-help groups or other interested parties, and that a deeper insight into his work, such as the complete conversations with those affected in “Lina,” can be found on the website https://remorauscher.at/projekt-lina/ .
